The Brief

The client initally reached out to EDG to take over maintenance and support of their existing website. Their existing website developer was no longer available, and they needed a reliable partner to ensure the site remained up-to-date and secure.

The site was built using Wordpress. The client was happy with the CMS but needed a partner to handle updates, security patches, and general maintenance. They also required ongoing support for any issues that might arise.

The Solution

The first thing we did was move the site over to a new hosting platform with better response times. We implemented a regular maintenance schedule to keep the site running smoothly and efficiently and make sure there were no security issues with outdated plugins or themes.

The client also needed a secure way to share documents with organizations and schools that relied on funding from the Child Nutrition Program. We implemented a secure file sharing system that allowed the client to upload documents to a secure area of the site and share them with specific organizations.

Finally, being a charity, we offered the client a low fixed monthly fee that included hosting, website updates and general support around their web based needs.
